A Grand Success on 1st October in Bengaluru
The 15th edition of the Indian National Memory Championship, held on 20th October 2024 in Hyderabad, was a resounding success. Squadron Leader Jayasimha, President of the Indian Memory Sports Council, proudly announced that the event brought together 180 of the nation’s finest memory athletes from across India. The championship showcased exceptional talent and determination, solidifying its reputation as a premier event in the world of memory sports.
There are world championships for virtually every physical sport like Swimming, Boxing, Foot Ball, Cricket, Hockey and Athletics and so on and on and on… Yet there was no world championships for that most important cognitive function of all, and without which none of the others could exist – MEMORY! .World Memory Sports Council had taken up the initiative to organise Memory Sports across the Globe. In this direction, National Memory Council for India under the aegis of World Memory Sports Council is organising the 16th Indian National Open Memory Championship – 2025 on 12th October 2025
The Indian Open National Memory Championship- 2025 will be organised under the following categories :
Kids: Age 12 years or under. Born in 2013 or after
Junior: Age 13 to 17 years: Born 2008 – 2012
Adults: Age 18 to 59 years: Born 1966 – 2007
Senior: Age 60 years and above:Born in 1965 and before
There will be overall 10 disciplines for winning the Memory Championships:
There will be marks allotted for each discipline. The Memory Athlete with the highest overall score of these 10 disciplines will be declared as the Indian Memory Champion.
The championship is open-to-all Indian and Foreign Nationals to compete in the Kids, Junior, Adult and Senior Category. The Championship Registration fee is Rs 6,000/- (plus GST as applicable) = Rs 7,080/-
